I'm Luca
I am a linguist from a small town near Rome, Italy. I have 20+ years of professional teaching experience both inside of the classroom and online.

As a language educator and lifelong learner, I created Italian with Luca to bridge a gap I often saw in language lessons: the need for a resource that is both visually engaging and rich in listening and communicative practice with a live tutor.
Many of my students—whether in the classroom or learning independently—shared the same challenges: difficulty understanding grammar explanations, a lack of structured listening opportunities, and little exposure to authentic Italian culture. I wanted to create courses that not only teach rules, but brings the language to life through clear visuals, relatable dialogues, and interactive tasks that mimic real-life communication to celebrate the beauty of the Italian language.
Whether you’re starting from zero or brushing up your basics, I hope to support you on your journey, help you hear and speak with clarity, and inspires your love for Italian.
When I'm not teaching, I enjoy road trips and traveling with my wife and son.
